In-person About the Opportunity Land of Goods Vocational Consulting (LOGVC) is seeking an experienced Vocational Evaluator to conduct in-person vocational evaluations in the Kansas City area. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified vocational rehabilitation professional who values flexibility, independence, professional autonomy, and meaningful client work . What You'll Do Conduct in-person vocational evaluations with clients. Gather and analyze vocational, educational, employment, and functional information. Administer appropriate vocational assessment tools. Prepare accurate, professional, and well-written evaluation reports. Complete reports within required timelines. Review, approve, and sign evaluations completed by Vocational Evaluator Assistants, as applicable. Communicate professionally with clients, referral sources, and LOGVC team members. Maintain client confidentiality and professional and ethical standards. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Experienced in vocational evaluation and/or vocational rehabilitation. A strong professional writer with excellent attention to detail. Comfortable conducting face-to-face client evaluations. Organized and able to manage deadlines independently. Professional, dependable, and responsive. Comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and needs. Willing to travel within Kansas City and surrounding communities as needed. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet at least one of the following: Professional Credential Current credential as a Professional Vocational Evaluator (PVE) Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE) ABVE Diplomat (ABVE/D) or Fellow (ABVE/F) International Psychometric Evaluation Certification (IPEC) Vocational Evaluator Certificate from a nationally accredited college or university OR Education Master's degree in Vocational Evaluation OR Related Education and Experience Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Rehabilitation Services, Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Clinical Psychology; and At least one year of full-time experience using vocational rehabilitation counseling techniques; and At least one year of full-time experience conducting vocational evaluations. Compensation $340 per completed vocational evaluation report. This is an independent contractor position with a flexible schedule. Work volume may vary based on client referrals and business needs. Additional Requirement Successful completion of a Level 2 Background Screening is required. Why Join LOGVC?
