full-time About PCDA Professional Child Development Associates (PCDA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the development and well-being of children, teens, and young adults through relationship-based, family-centered care. Using the DIR® (Developmental, Individual-differences, and Relationship-based) model, we celebrate neurodiversity and partner with clients and their families to build meaningful relationships, foster independence, and create inclusive communities. Position Overview We are seeking a thoughtful, enthusiastic Developmental Interventionist to support peer group programs for youth ages 3-21, with a focus on our largest population of?teens aged 13-18. This entry-level role provides an exciting opportunity to help participants grow in areas of?creativity, self-expression, independence, and community-building, especially through engaging group sessions. As a Developmental Interventionist, you will work alongside experienced clinicians to facilitate group programming that supports social-emotional development and fosters authentic peer relationships. This is a great fit for someone interested in neurodiversity-affirming care, adolescent development, and creative, strengths-based approaches.

Pay is not dependent on billable hours. Additional stipends may be possible for work during?evening hours (after 6 PM)?and?



Saturdays. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized and group support to youth, with an emphasis on teen group facilitation. Help participants connect with others and express themselves through play, projects, and discussion. Assist with group planning and implementation that reflects participants' interests, developmental levels, and communication styles. Build strong, respectful relationships with participants and their families. Support safe, inclusive environments where every participant feels seen, valued, and empowered. Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training to reflect and grow in your practice. Maintain consistent and accurate session documentation in a timely manner. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, in a related field preferred (e.g., Child Development, Psychology, Education, Social Work). Experience working with youth and/or individuals with developmental differences is highly preferred. A flexible, collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills. Commitment to PCDA's values of inclusion, family partnership, and relationship-based care. Availability for weekday afternoon/evening and some Saturday hours. Must complete background check and required health screenings. What We Offer Pay is $21 per hour. Additional pay stipends may be available for?evening shifts (after 6 PM)?and?
