We are looking for individuals that are consistent, fair, punctual, motivated, and structure-oriented. If you have prior experience in similar facilities, any military training and/or relevant education, you may be eligible to start above entry-level.

Job Duties:

The primary responsibilities of a Coach Counselor are to provide safety and around-the-clock supervision of at-risk youth. Coach Counselors provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each student through individual counseling and behavioral/social/physical and educational skill development. Direct Juvenile Support Workers provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the youth's needs; monitor and document behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities. Direct Juvenile Support Worker will collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan. Adheres to the facility and daily schedule, ensures that the facility is on time for all elements and the students participate in all of the scheduled activities. Ensures that program rules, norms, policies etc. are enforced and that the program is operated within all program requirements and regulatory guidelines. Observes behavior patterns of students in order to detect signs of depression, anger, and/or other emotional and situational problems/issues and initiates proper program behavior management and intervention techniques.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Valid Florida Operator's Drivers License for required job-related travel Employer conducts a drug screen, physical, TB Test, reference, Level II Background check, and motor vehicle record check. Employer conducts On-line Berke compatibility assessment Employer has other requirements

Work Schedule:

9am to 9pm or 9pm to 9am (3 days of 12 hrs and 1 half day of 6 hrs)

Wage :
