This position is responsible for : Providing constant care for the needs of children in an efficient, clean, loving, safe, secure, and healthy manner. Performing learning and development activities which are age-group and program specific. Providing opportunities for physical and mental stimulation through both inside and outside learning activities. Key responsibilities : Monitors and ensures that children/youth remain on task for activities. Maintains the program materials and equipment in an orderly fashion. Ability to deal comfortably with stressful situations. Must be able to work with people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and having a high school diploma or G.E.D. is required, and six months experience providing adult supervision to children in a camp, school or community center environment preferred, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Licenses & Certifications CPR & First Aid (or ability to obtain) Blood Borne Pathogens (or ability to obtain)
