Passion for proclaiming the Gospel Possess loving and nurturing theological perspective Experience in teaching and leading children, youth and young adults in a faith setting Satisfactory completion of background screening and Child Abuse Prevention Training Possess a current
CPR and First Aide Certificate Duties:
Help develop and lead age-appropriate Wednesday Night and Sunday Morning Programing/Curriculum for Children (age 3
Grade 5) and Youth (Grade 6
12) Ministries. Help develop and lead Family Improvement for Kids. (Grades K
8th) (In partnership with DFCS) Assist with Trunk-or-Treat in October.
Assist with Day Camp and Summer Camp, as assigned. Assist with transportation of kids, as assigned. (Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; year-around) Must be over 25 for this task, due to insurance specifications. Follow First Lutherans Children & Youth Protection Policy standards are maintained. Do additional tasks as assigned.
Conditions of employment:
1. Working hours Average of 25 hours per week 2. Compensation $20.00 Per Hour (2025) Reimbursement for work-related miles driven at current IRS rate. 3.
