Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) Beyond the
Image Christian Counseling Compensation:
Residents:
$45-$65 per clinical hour
Fully Licensed Clinicians:
60%-70% revenue range per clinical hour About the Position Beyond the Image Christian Counseling is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and growth-oriented Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with 2+ years of clinical experience to join our expanding private practice. We are looking for clinicians who are passionate about providing exceptional care, building strong therapeutic relationships, and contributing to a collaborative team culture. This position is ideal for professionals who are self-motivated, organized, and committed to clinical excellence. Primary Responsibilities Provide high-quality individual, couples, family, and/or child counseling services. Complete accurate, timely, and insurance-compliant clinical documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Maintain documentation within required agency and insurance timeframes. Respond promptly to new client referrals and make initial contact with prospective clients within established time expectations. Maintain ongoing communication with current clients regarding scheduling, appointment reminders, cancellations, rescheduling, and follow-up needs. Conduct risk assessments and develop appropriate safety plans when clinically indicated. Maintain an active caseload while providing ethical, client-centered care. Build and maintain professional relationships with physicians, schools, churches, community agencies, and referral sources. Participate in community outreach, networking opportunities, and professional events to increase community awareness and referrals. Collaborate with administrative staff regarding scheduling, authorizations, insurance issues, and client care coordination. Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA, ethical standards, and state licensing regulations. Monitor client attendance and follow agency procedures regarding missed appointments and client engagement. Maintain professional communication through phone, email, text, and electronic health records. Participate in supervision, team meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities. Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to continual clinical growth. Preferred Qualifications Active Virginia LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license (or Resident working toward licensure). Minimum of 2 years of counseling experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills. Excellent documentation and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a hybrid team. Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms. Experience with insurance-based documentation preferred. Ability to establish rapport quickly and maintain excellent client engagement.
