Early Education Inclusion Aide $500 Sign-On Bonus | Full-Time or Part-Time | Summer 2026 & 2026-2027 School Year Make a lasting difference in the life of one child. Beaver Brook Children's School is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable Inclusion and Support Aide to provide one-on-one support for a four-year-old child beginning in our fully outdoor nature-based summer camp and continuing into the 2026-2027 school year in our Nature-Immersion Prekindergarten program. This position may be full-time or part-time depending on the candidate's availability and the child's schedule. The successful candidate will work closely with our teaching team while building a consistent, supportive relationship with one child. $500 sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates. Located in Wilmington, Vermont, Beaver Brook Children's School is a nonprofit childcare and preschool program rooted in community, nature, and hands-on learning. Children spend much of each day outdoors exploring, playing, and learning through authentic experiences in nature. What You'll Do Provide one-on-one support to help a child successfully participate in daily routines, classroom activities, and outdoor experiences. Support transitions throughout the day by implementing individualized accommodations and proactive strategies. Foster emotional regulation through co-regulation, modeling, coaching, and relationship-based practices. Encourage the child's independence while supporting meaningful participation with peers. Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure consistency and success. Maintain daily documentation and prepare weekly narrative progress reports. Qualifications Experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, school, or therapeutic setting. Patient, calm, and relationship-centered approach to supporting children. Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills. Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons. Ability to meet the physical requirements of working with young children, including lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and walking over uneven terrain. Preferred Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Experience supporting children with developmental, behavioral, or social-emotional needs. Familiarity with trauma-informed, stregths-based, or relationship-based practices.
