- Data & Analytics Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager
- Data & Analytics to lead large-scale data initiatives that drive strategic business outcomes.
This role is responsible for overseeing complex cross-functional programs involving data strategy, data governance, analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, cloud data platforms, and enterprise reporting solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of program management expertise, data domain knowledge, executive stakeholder management, and the ability to translate business objectives into scalable data solutions. This individual will partner closely with business leaders, data engineers, architects, analysts, product managers, and technology teams to deliver enterprise-wide data transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Program Leadership Lead multiple complex data and analytics programs simultaneously from initiation through delivery. Develop and manage program roadmaps, timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks, and resource plans. Establish governance frameworks and operating models to ensure successful program execution. Drive strategic planning and execution of enterprise data initiatives aligned with business objectives. Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and provide program status updates to senior leadership. Data Strategy & Transformation Partner with business and technology leaders to define and execute enterprise data strategies. Lead initiatives involving data modernization, cloud migration, data governance, and analytics transformation. Support the development of enterprise data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and reporting ecosystems. Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making across business functions. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with executive sponsors, business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and engineering organizations. Manage expectations across multiple business units while balancing priorities and resource constraints. Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for leadership audiences. Delivery & Execution Oversee Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies. Ensure successful delivery of data products, dashboards, analytics solutions, and reporting capabilities. Identify and mitigate program risks, issues, and dependencies. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), milestones, and program outcomes. Data Governance & Compliance Partner with governance teams to establish data quality, metadata, and master data management practices. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements. Promote best practices around data stewardship and data lifecycle management. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, or related field. 10+ years of program or project management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives. 5+ years managing large-scale Data & Analytics programs. Experience leading enterprise data transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of:
Data Warehousing Data Lakes Data Governance Master Data Management (MDM) Data Quality Business Intelligence Data Engineering Cloud Data Platforms Experience managing budgets exceeding $1M. Proven ability to lead geographically distributed teams and vendors. Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field. PMP certification. SAFe Agilist, SPC, or Scrum certifications.
Experience with cloud platforms:
AWS Azure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience with modern data technologies: Snowflake Databricks Microsoft Fabric Azure Synapse Redshift BigQuery Experience supporting AI, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics initiatives. Experience within highly regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, telecommunications, or insurance. Technical Environment Data Platforms Snowflake Databricks Microsoft Fabric Azure Synapse Analytics AWS Redshift Google BigQuery ETL / Data Integration Informatica Talend DataStage Fivetran dbt Azure Data Factory Analytics & BI Power BI Tableau Looker Qlik Project & Agile Tools Jira Azure DevOps Confluence Smartsheet Microsoft Project Success Metrics On-time delivery of strategic data initiatives. Improved data quality and governance maturity. Increased adoption of analytics and self-service reporting. Reduction in data platform operational costs. Improved stakeholder satisfaction and business outcomes. Delivery of measurable ROI from data investments.
