Job Description

Role:

Architect I- Senior Backend +

AI Engineer Location:

NYC /

New York, NY Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems. Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Golang . Strong experience with LLM systems, Agentic AI workflows, and advanced ML infrastructure . Proven ownership of complex, cross-functional agentic systems spanning multiple teams or products. Strong engineering fundamentals across backend systems, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure . Deep experience across the Agentic AI stack , including planning, tool use, memory, orchestration, and evaluation. Fluency with AI-assisted and agentic development workflows . Experience translating ambiguous problem spaces into reliable, production-ready autonomous systems. Ability to influence technical direction and align teams without formal authority. Experience with workflow engines, asynchronous processing, queues, and streaming systems . Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes . Strong knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB and Redis . Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines . Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
