Business Intelligence Analyst Chicago, IL | Hybrid Turn Data Into Business Impact We're partnering with a successful, family-owned manufacturing company undergoing an exciting data transformation. Having recently built a modern Snowflake data warehouse with a Medallion Architecture, the organization is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to help turn data into actionable insights that drive operational performance and business growth. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Product teams to build dashboards, deliver analytics, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You'll work within a modern data stack that includes Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, SQL, and AI-driven solutions, with the opportunity to grow into Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering over time. What You'll Do Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports used throughout the organization. Partner directly with business stakeholders to translate questions into meaningful analytics and visualizations. Write SQL queries against Snowflake to support reporting, analysis, and ad hoc business requests. Help drive self-service analytics and support Power BI users across the business. Monitor data quality, investigate discrepancies, and maintain trust in reporting. Document business logic, metric definitions, reports, and data processes. Support AI and automation initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and reducing manual work.
What We're Looking For Required:
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Strong Power BI experience building dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Advanced SQL skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Basic Python knowledge for data analysis and automation. Understanding of data modeling concepts and business reporting.
Preferred:
Experience with Snowflake and dbt. Manufacturing industry experience. Experience with cloud data platforms and modern data warehouses. Exposure to data engineering, APIs, AI, or automation technologies. Manufacturing Experience Is a Plus Knowledge of concepts and working experience in a similar environment will help you ramp up quickly and deliver value faster. Why This Opportunity?
