This position requires a Secret clearance

Responsibilities Elastic Consultant Elastic:

Elastic Stack Administration (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats)

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Elastic platforms in production environments while ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational stability. Kibana Dashboard & Visualization Development
• Create operational, security, and executive dashboards that provide actionable insights, metrics, trends, and compliance reporting. Detection Engineering & Alert Tuning
• Develop correlation rules, detection content, and alert logic while minimizing false positives and improving detection effectiveness. Data Management & Lifecycle Policies
• Implement index lifecycle management, retention schedules, archival strategies, and storage optimization to meet operational and compliance requirements. Integration & Automation
• Develop scripts and automation workflows using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate onboarding, reporting, health monitoring, and operational tasks.

RMF / ATO

& Compliance Support

• Generate evidence, reports, dashboards, and security metrics that support RMF controls, ATO activities, audits, and continuous monitoring requirements. Cross-Team Collaboration
• Work closely with Security, Network, Platform, Cloud, and Engineering teams to onboard new data sources, improve visibility, and support remediation activities.
