Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Programmer for our Mazak laser division to join our team. This position will be responsible for coordinating and managing the production schedule to for our production laser division and ensure timely completion of projects. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the production schedule based on customer orders and production capacity
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure materials and resources are available for production
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines
  • Communicate any changes or delays in the schedule to relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain accurate records of production schedules, including any changes or updates
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in scheduling or production planning preferred
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including sheet metal fabrication, machining, stamping press, and assembly
  • Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles
  • Proficiency in using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment capabilities and limitations We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
