Job DescriptionThe IT Field Engineer I provides technical support to operational and technical teams, ensuring the stability and integrity of the Company's information systems, networked computers, operating systems, and service applications. This role encompasses monitoring and maintaining in-house computer and server hardware, software, voice, data, video, wired and wireless network services, including Local Area Network (LAN) services and low voltage connectivity. The IT Field Engineer I works collaboratively with Senior Field Engineers and IT Field Engineer II staff to deliver reliable technical support while building professional expertise.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical support to operational teams through incident troubleshooting, problem resolution, and comprehensive documentationPerform first-level maintenance and upgrades on network devices, computer hardware, and software in collaboration with Senior Field Engineers, IT Operations Center engineers, and vendor support teamsRespond to computer, network, and data security vulnerability alerts to restore services and communicate status as directedInstall, monitor, maintain, and optimize network and server hardware, software, and communication infrastructure within data centers and communications closetsAnalyze and resolve network and server hardware and software issues efficiently and accuratelyPerform network troubleshooting and analysis with support from Senior Field Engineers and IT Operations Center engineersTerminate and test network cabling systems using Company-provided tools and test equipmentInstall, configure, and troubleshoot digital signage systems, including indoor and outdoor displays, video walls, projectors, and monument signageMonitor and maintain computer and user accounts to ensure appropriate access to software and network applications in accordance with Company policiesProvide Smart Device activation, programming, and enrollment into the Company's Mobile Device Management System, including basic user trainingRecord, monitor, track, and document all work performed using the Company's tracking systemProvide scheduled on-call support for emergency after-hours issuesSupport inventory of Company assets and maintain accurate stock level documentationSupport rollouts of new computer and software upgrades under the direction of Senior Field EngineersAssist in determining product compatibility and recommend replacement, upgrade, or retirement of Company assetsAdhere to all safety and security precautions and Company policiesPerform additional duties as assigned Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum three (2) years of professional experience in IT Support, Network Engineering, or Systems Engineering rolesDemonstrated proficiency with current Microsoft Windows Operating Systems in enterprise environmentsHave foundational knowledge of computer networking, hardware installation, and connectivity systemsExcellent organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applicationsAbility to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats with strong interpersonal skillsCapacity to obtain and maintain a gaming license as requiredAbility to work scheduled on-call support for emergency after-hours issues•
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
