$45,000 - $65,000/year + Benefits Relocaiton assitance: Yes Position Overview We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join a small IT team supporting approximately 150 users across three office locations in Marfa, TX. This is a hands-on IT support position focused on troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, printers, and day-to-day technical issues. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in desktop support and basic networking concepts and be comfortable working directly with end users in a small IT environment. Key Responsibilities Provide Level I technical support to approximately 150 users across three office locations. Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, hardware, software, and peripheral issues. Perform hands-on break/fix support for computers, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment. Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers and network-connected devices. Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues. Support users with TCP/IP, DNS, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and other basic networking technologies. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems in a timely manner. Assist with workstation setup, configuration, and deployment. Support user account and access-related issues as needed. Escalate more complex technical issues to other members of the IT team when appropriate. Travel between the three local office locations as needed to provide hands-on support. Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in an IT help desk, desktop support, or IT support role. Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows computers and common hardware/software issues. Basic understanding of networking concepts, including:
TCP/IP DNS DHCP
Ethernet Wi-Fi Basic network troubleshooting Experience troubleshooting printers and other peripheral devices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users. Ability to work independently while also being part of a small IT team. Comfortable providing hands-on support across multiple office locations. Environment Approximately 150 end users Three office locations (2 are together, the other is about 20 miles away) Small IT team of two IT professionals Primarily hands-on, end-user technical support Local travel between offices is required
