Active DoD Secret Security Clearance Position Summary 3 Reasons Consulting is seeking a Help Desk Technician to provide technical support services in Falls Church, VA . This role is critical in delivering timely, customer-focused IT assistance, resolving technical issues, and maintaining secure and reliable access to mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT support, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced and highly secure environments. Key Responsibilities Services to be performed include, but are not limited to: Provide Tier I and Tier II technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues. Respond to and resolve service desk tickets in a timely and professional manner. Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral hardware . Support Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications . Assist with user account management , including account creation, password resets, and access control. Document technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the service ticketing system . Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems . Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate support teams or higher-level technical staff . Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures , including IAT Level II requirements . Help Desk Technician(Junior) Education Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience Entry-level to early-career experience in IT support or service desk environments .
