Job Description

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Technician to lead the setup, configuration, tuning, and ongoing administration of a small pilot deployment of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). This role is ideal for a highly skilled cloud engineer who can independently design and optimize cloud-based virtual desktop environments, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. The position also involves optional cross‑cloud work with AWS-based archival storage. https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering or virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) experience. Strong knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop architecture, deployment automation, and management tooling. Proficiency with Azure networking, identity, security, monitoring, and storage services. Experience with PowerShell, ARM/Bicep, or other IaC technologies is a plus. Familiarity with AWS storage services (S3, Glacier) and cloud security best practices is highly desirable. Experience with Milestone VMS or similar video management systems is beneficial. Excellent problem-solving skills, documentation abilities, and communication skills.
