Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Systems Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the company's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with
IATF 16949, ISO/IEC
17025, customer-specific requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. This position coordinates internal and external audits, manages quality documentation, supports customer requirements, and promotes continual improvement throughout the organization. Duties Maintain and continuously improve the
IATF 16949
Quality Management System. Maintain documentation required for
ISO/IEC 17025
laboratory accreditation. Develop, revise, and control quality procedures, work instructions, forms, and records. Ensure document control complies with company and customer requirements. Monitor compliance with customer-specific requirements (CSR). Audit Management Plan, schedule, and coordinate internal quality audits. Coordinate third-party certification audits (IATF 16949, ISO/IEC 17025, etc.). Coordinate customer audits and support all audit activities. Track audit findings through corrective actions to closure. Verify effectiveness of corrective actions. Customer Requirements Complete customer quality surveys and supplier questionnaires. Support new customer registration and supplier qualification activities. Prepare and submit quality documentation requested by customers. Maintain customer portals related to quality documentation.
Support customer-specific documentation such as:
Supplier Self-Assessments Quality Capability Surveys Customer Quality Manuals Quality Documentation Maintain controlled copies of: Quality Manual Procedures Work Instructions Forms Control Plans PFMEA Process Flow Diagrams Inspection Standards Ensure obsolete documents are removed from use. Corrective Action System Coordinate corrective and preventive actions resulting from: Internal audits Customer audits Third-party audits Laboratory assessments Monitor completion of corrective actions. Report overdue actions to management. Management Review Collect quality performance data. Prepare Management Review meeting materials. Monitor quality objectives and KPIs. Support continual improvement initiatives. Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) are preferred.
