Senior VMware NSX-T Consultant/Architect

Job Description

A leading technology company is seeking a Senior VMware NSX-T Consultant/Architect to support a remote team. This contract role involves expertise in VMware NSX-T and VMware Cloud Foundation VPC networking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network virtualization, security architecture, and multi-cloud connectivity. Part time - 20 hours a week There is no application deadline for this role.
Senior VMware NSX-T Consultant/Architect Responsibilities:
Assess and analyze existing NSX-T deployments and infrastructure designs to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Develop tailored recommendations for network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and security policies to enhance security posture. Evaluate routing strategies, gateway configurations, and overall network architecture to optimize performance and security. Lead reviews and provide guidance on best practices for deploying NSX-T and VPC infrastructure in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Design and implement VPC configurations and ensure seamless integration across cloud platforms and on-premises environments.
Senior VMware NSX-T Consultant/Architect Qualifications:
Proven experience in designing and implementing NSX-T network virtualization and security solutions. In-depth knowledge of VPC design, segmentation strategies, and multi-tenant network architecture. Strong understanding of routing, gateways, distributed firewalls, and security policy management. Ability to review, evaluate, and recommend improvements for complex network infrastructures. Excellent communication skills and experience working remotely within a collaborative team environment.
