Automation Platform Engineer
Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Strong understanding of Temporal architecture, workflow orchestration, and operational tasks Proficiency in Go (preferred for Temporal), Python, PowerShell, and Bash for automation Roles & Responsibilities
- Strong experience in supporting Temporal Workflow Platform in production environment.
- Proficiency with Terraform Cloud and Ansible AAP platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting Golang for automation and debugging.
- Work closely with development and DevOps teams to onboard new applications and workflows onto Temporal.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline platform operations
- Support integration of Temporal workflows with other cloud services and infrastructure components
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in python, YAML, PowerShell, Shell for Infrastructure Automation.
- Experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Ability to perform root‑cause analysis, handle L2/L3 escalations, and troubleshoot platform failures.
- Understanding compliance standards, platform hardening, and best‑practice governance.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering, security, and cloud platform teams.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
