Active Secret Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a ServiceNow Functional Analyst to work as part of an Agile team supporting incident management, application testing, and ongoing development activities. In this role, you will focus on the triage and resolution of incidents using ServiceNow, while also supporting regression, user acceptance, and smoke testing to help ensure the stability and quality of application releases. The ServiceNow Functional Analyst will create, manage, and close user stories supporting ongoing development cycles, thoroughly investigate and document incidents, and communicate proactively when issues, risks, or delays may affect project timelines. Success in this role requires the ability to independently analyze problems, quickly learn new systems and processes, maintain detailed documentation, and operate effectively with minimal supervision. Job Responsibilities Triage and resolve incidents within ServiceNow. Ensure incidents are thoroughly and accurately documented. Independently investigate and analyze incidents. Identify potential root causes and propose appropriate solutions. Collaborate with Agile teams to support application development and release activities. Create, manage, update, and close user stories supporting ongoing development cycles. Conduct regression testing to validate application functionality. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Conduct smoke testing to support application release readiness. Document testing activities, results, issues, and findings. Communicate proactively with team members and stakeholders regarding issues, delays, risks, or other concerns that may impact project timelines. Quickly learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and processes. Work independently and effectively with minimal supervision. Support continuous improvement of incident management and testing processes within the Agile framework. Minimum Qualifications Hands-on experience with ServiceNow. Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies. Experience supporting incident triage, investigation, and resolution. Experience creating, managing, and closing user stories.
Experience performing:
Regression Testing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Smoke Testing Ability to independently analyze problems and identify potential solutions. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate issues, risks, and delays proactively. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to management systems. Exposure to test case management platforms. Exposure to collaborative project tracking tools. Experience supporting incident management and testing processes within an Agile environment.
