Job Description

Overview:

Are you ready to take your passion for technology to the next level? Our immersive internship experience is designed to provide aspiring tech enthusiasts like you with the opportunity to dive headfirst into the world of innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving. Each year SimVentions invites a select number of students to join us for our immersive 11-week paid internship program where you will experience our outstanding company culture while gaining valuable experience that you can implement into your post graduate professional career.
Eligibility:
SimVentions offers internship opportunities across a variety of technical disciplines, including systems engineering, software engineering, modeling & simulation, and cybersecurity engineering. Priority consideration will be given to returning interns and students pursuing degrees that align with our core technical areas. Students pursuing degrees in other fields may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All applicants must have completed their Freshman year of college and not yet graduated by the beginning of the summer internship period (i.e., must be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior).
Deadlines:
All resumes with attached cover letters must be received no later than December 31, 2026. Any resumes received after this time will not be considered.
Notification:
All candidates will be notified of their selection status no later than March 2027
Requirements:
Completed Freshman year of college by the start of the internship (must be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior). Enrolled in a relevant degree program such as systems engineering, software engineering, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field. Strong interest in technology, innovation, and problem-solving. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude with a commitment to personal and professional growth. Previous experience or coursework in cybersecurity is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Support cybersecurity initiatives involving security monitoring, vulnerability assessment, risk analysis, and implementation of security controls.
