Job Description

IMPACT DESCRIPTION
The Associate Data Generalist is a Shared Services role that supports the organization through accurate data capture and management, Finance and Accounting data support, reporting, administrative support, and basic internal technology troubleshooting. This individual works across multiple systems and data sets to keep information accurate, organized, and useful for business operations. This is an entry-level role for someone with a strong aptitude for working with data, solving problems, and learning new systems and processes. As proficiency develops, the role will grow into more advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and data tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Management & Accuracy
  • maintain, clean, reconcile, and update business data to support accurate and reliable information across company systems Finance & Accounting Data Support
  • provide data and administrative support to the Finance and Accounting team, including data entry, reconciliation, reporting, and recurring financial data processes Reporting & Analytics
  • maintain and develop reports and spreadsheet-based analyses while building proficiency toward more advanced reporting and analytics responsibilities Administrative Support
  • provide general administrative support to Shared Services and other departments as needed
HOW YOU'LL MAKE IMPACT
  • Capture, maintain, and update records within internal business applications
  • Maintain spreadsheets, trackers, and recurring data sets using Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and other internal business applications
  • Perform data cleaning by identifying duplicate, missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate records
  • Import and export data, reconcile information between systems, and investigate data discrepancies
  • Prepare and validate data used for recurring business reporting
  • Support the Finance and Accounting team with accounting-related data entry, reconciliations, spreadsheets, reports, financial data pulls, and recurring or month-end processes
  • Run and modify existing reports, build basic reports, and perform Excel analysis using formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
  • As proficiency develops, identify trends or inconsistencies in data, prepare data summaries, create dashboards, and develop skills in advanced analytics tools such as Power BI or SQL
  • Provide basic help desk support by troubleshooting user login, access, and software/application issues and escalating more complex issues when needed
  • Assist with basic user setup as needed
  • Provide general administrative support to Shared Services and other departments as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated aptitude for working with data, solving problems, and learning new systems and processes
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Preferred:
intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and large or detailed data sets
  • Strong general computer literacy
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and identify potential solutions
  • Ability and willingness to learn new software, business applications, and processes
WORKING CONDITIONS AND TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS
  • This job operates in an in-person office environment and routinely uses computers and other standard office equipment.
  • The role is primarily desk and computer based.
  • Individual may be expected to travel up to 25% to other company offices, meetings, or business-related events.
  • Individual may be invited or expected to assist with company meetings, events, or other offsite activities as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to be in a stationary position for 75% or more of the day
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
  • Ability to lift and move normal office materials or equipment as needed
Pay:
$60,000.00
  • $62,000.
