In this vital role, you will serve as a key liaison between educational institutions and the MN Department of Education, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of student data. Your energetic approach will help facilitate smooth data collection processes, support school districts in compliance efforts, and contribute to the overall integrity of student information systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in data management, client services, and communication within a collaborative environment dedicated to educational excellence. Duties Act as the primary point of contact for school districts, providing expert guidance on MARSS reporting requirements and procedures Assist schools with data entry, verification, and submission processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of student records Assist with district staff to resolve data discrepancies or clarify reporting issues Support district staff through customer service interactions, offering clear explanations and solutions via phone, email, or virtual meetings Analyze student data reports to identify trends or inconsistencies that may impact compliance or reporting quality Facilitate in-person meetings & trainings, as well as conference/presentations to both small & large groups; creating corresponding training materials & documents Experience Prior work in education settings (familiarity with student information systems can be advantageous but is not required) Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical audiences Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with data entry and analysis tools is a plus Customer service experience, phone etiquette, and handling customer inquiries professionally Knowledge of basic analysis skills related to data review and troubleshooting issues in a fast-paced environment Join us in this engaging role where your proactive attitude and attention to detail will make a meaningful impact on educational data integrity.
