Appointment Type Full Time Description Position Summary:
To assist the Student Information System Manager and provide support to OASD families and staff.
Essential Functions:
Student Information Management (55%) Maintain the integrity of the district's student information database Enter student information during the summer in the absence of building secretaries Complete all Footprints to maintain our SIS system Enter information for all incoming census students Assist SIS Manager with registration activities relating to student enrollment into the district SIS/ process registration requests, and monitor registration within the SIS Assist SIS Manager with Summer School setup and district support Assist clerical staff with School Store support Clerical Training/Support (15%) Assist the SIS Manager during staff training on district SIS standards. Serve as an assistant trainer to the SIS Manager Maintain the Secretary Training Manual and New Hire Manual Data Integrity (10%) Report database issues to the SIS/Technology Services department for problem/ resolution. Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information at all times. Provide assistance in performing any needed processes for the district SIS. Information verification via Infinite Campus SIS Reports (Guardian Verification, Address Change-Boundary School, Address change-Override, Birth to 5, and Birth Certificate, returned mail) Daily Audit Reports (Communication, Household, Wrong School, Override) Maintain all SIS updates as needed to keep data integrity as provided to SIS team Customer Service (10%) Answer phone calls from parents and provide excellent customer service Assist families with New Student Enrollment in person and by phone. Assist parents with parent portal resets Assist with School Store customer service Provide backup support and coordination for transportation-related needs with Kobussen Transportation, city cab, etc.

• Assist with field trip transportation requests, activity transportation coordination, student transportation concerns, behavioral issues, route-related communication, and other transportation matters to ensure continuity of service and effective communication between the district, schools, and transportation providers. • Prepare school closing procedures and contact the media in the event of a school closing. Continuous Improvement (5%) Attend SIS User Group Conferences, training sessions, and meetings. All other duties as assigned (5%)
Qualifications Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
1. High school diploma and additional computer education and/or experience. 2. Successful secretarial work and office experience. 3. Demonstrated proficiency in language and computational skills including the use of a student management system. Infinite Campus experience preferred. 4. Thorough knowledge of current office practices and procedures. 5. Experience with word processing, database, spreadsheets, etc. Experience in using MS Excel to gather, sort, and create professional looking displays, graphs, and charts 6. Able to interact tactfully, effectively, and courteously with staff and others encountered on the job. 7. Able to maintain accurate and complete records and prepare clear and detailed reports. 8. Ability to make reasonable decisions in the absence of the supervising administrator.
