Job Duties:
Monitor the health and security of cloud, enterprise architecture domain, and network services.
Set priorities and assign work to analysts and architects; remove roadblocks.
Review and approve team deliverables (reports, designs, proposals) for quality and completeness.
Advance projects: maintain schedules, align resources, and minimize impact on agency operations.
Track emerging technologies; recommend upgrades or acquisitions that improve reliability and security.
Monitor budgets and spending; request adjustments when needed.
Coordinate with vendors; enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs), escalate issues, and troubleshoot to resolution.
Lead and develop staff through coaching, technical guidance, and training plans.

You are formally educated in a computer science or related field., You have strong problem solving skills.
You have strong communication skills.
You have an understanding of governmental and TDCJ procedures.
You have experience with computer operations, hardware maintenance, and operating systems. You'd be a GREAT fit if:

You have an extensive background in information technology, includingarchitecture, cloud environments, systems administration, networking, and security You have experience in reviewing technical data and report preparation.
