Overview As the site's Technical Program Manger your position will entail activities that pertain to aspects of process engineering, project management, and when needed customer support. The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement in the site's efficiency, quality of operation, performance stability and others all directed at improving the sites financial performance. Defining and getting the approval to implement the required actions, preparing work plans, and required budgets. Have the responsibility over the introduction and implementation of specific projects/parts/processes/technology and their introduction into the site assuring all technical, operational, and quality requirements are met according to Arkal's internal work processes. In addition, work internally at the site, with HQ functions and marketing on the acquisition of new business that will be translated into revenue and meet the financial profit objectives Duties and Responsibilities
Aspects of Process engineering : o Help develop solutions to improve efficiencies (kg/hr, C/O time reduction, C/T reduction) o Work with key leaders and other teams to define technical requirements and specifications, define scope, equipment & plant layouts and develop work plans.
o Develop and manage technical programs and automation projects from initiation through implementation, including requirements definition, hardware and software planning, configuration, implementation, integration, and deployment.
Aspects of project management o Provide technical leadership and expertise to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
o Manage the process of ensuring technical deliverables are implemented, completed on time and within budget, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. o Develop and maintain project documentation including work plans, schedules, and status reports. o Assist and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, and issue tracking. o Provide technical leadership and oversight to project team members, including assigning tasks and resolving issues.
o Lead new production trials:
meetings, review progress, and provide feedback to project team members. o Attend all project status meetings, review status reports and project deliverables, and provide project status to upper management. o Assist the project team through all phases of project execution, including managing multiple stakeholders, requirements traceability, issue tracking, and change management. o Utilize project management tools, including Gantt chart, critical path analysis, and earned value management, to track project. o Promote effective management practices and processes within the team; develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, budgets, issues, risks, and issues tracking logs; participate in project risk assessments, and mitigation strategies; perform root cause analysis; and provide closure on issues and risks.
Aspect of customer support o Manage controls and procedures for development of customer projects.
o Manage and prioritize multiple customer requests, helping to provide and maintain solutions to meet business needs. o During non launch periods focus on process improvements and cost reduction activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
College diploma and/or 5 years injection molding experience
3 years Process Engineer experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Proficient in written and verbal English skills
COMPUTER SKILLS
Knowledge of manufacturing software; Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, RJG
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
