Up to 15% A leading U.S. manufacturing organization is expanding its Artificial Intelligence (AI) Center of Excellence and is seeking AI & Six Sigma Leads to drive business transformation across multiple production facilities. This is a unique opportunity to combine operational excellence, continuous improvement, and emerging AI technologies to improve safety, quality, reliability, throughput, and overall plant performance. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy solving complex business problems, leading change initiatives, and helping organizations adopt innovative technologies within manufacturing environments. Responsibilities:
Lead high-impact projects utilizing Six Sigma methodologies, analytics, AI, and automation tools Partner with operations, engineering, and corporate teams to identify opportunities for process improvement Drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions that improve manufacturing performance and business outcomes Lead cross-functional teams through project execution, implementation, and sustainment Analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes, and optimization opportunities Support initiatives involving predictive analytics, machine learning, digital twins, and automation Train and mentor employees on process improvement methodologies and emerging technologies Develop dashboards, documentation, and reporting to track project success and business impact Promote a culture of data-driven decision making and continuous improvement Support change management efforts across manufacturing and corporate functions
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related STEM discipline Approximately 4-10 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, process improvement, automation, analytics, or related fields Experience leading projects, teams, or cross-functional initiatives Strong interest in AI, machine learning, automation, and digital transformation Background in manufacturing, industrial operations, or production environments Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to influence organizational change and drive adoption of new technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Six Sigma, Lean, or Continuous Improvement experience Manufacturing analytics or data science exposure Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Reliability Engineering experience Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar technologies Experience with predictive maintenance, SPC, automation, or digital transformation initiatives Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, Power BI, or related analytics tools
