Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role will support a critical data-processing application responsible for managing large-scale,plex, and high-volume data for Global Markets operations and regulatory reporting. The Project Manager will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business needs into clear requirements and ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze requirements, developing business and functional documentation

Identify process improvement opportunities

Communicate project objectives, progress, and oues to stakeholders

Transformplex business and regulatory needs into actionable delivery plans

Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and issues

Leadplex initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation, testing, and deployment

Requirements:

• Core experience with Java and Python
• Experience as an Agile Scrum Master using Agile tools (Jira)
• Strong project and technical management experience
• Proven business analysis skills to translate business and regulatory requirements into technology solutions
• Experience with large-scale data platforms, data processing systems, or regulatory reporting environments
• Ability to develop business, functional, and technical requirements documentation, user stories, and process flows
• Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills
• Experience partnering with Front Office, Operations, Technology, and Risk stakeholders within a regulated financial services environment

Desired skills:

Familiarity with data platforms, regulatory reporting processes, and enterprise application delivery frameworks

Knowledge of business process analysis and solution design practices

Understanding of financial markets and Global Markets business processes

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for executive presentations and reporting

Experience working within a highly regulated environment with an understanding of governance, risk,pliance, and control requirements

Pay range: $55.15 - $63.15 per hour
