AssociateResponsibilities Automation & System Integration:
Serve as the primary technical expert for automation systems, robotics (3-axis, 5-axis, 6-axis), vision systems, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and motion controls.
Project & Capital Management:
Manage complex automation and tooling projects from concept to completion; lead capital equipment justification, specification, and validation efforts within budget and schedule targets.
Design & Tooling:
Design parts, fixtures, and End of Arm Tooling (EOAT) using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Cimitron, AutoCAD 2D, SolidWorks Electrical).
Programming & Controls:
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, industrial networks, automation communication protocols, low voltage controls, and three-phase power systems.
Continuous Improvement & NPI:
Lead new product introductions (NPI), establish performance KPIs, conduct root-cause analysis on production bottlenecks, and drive lean continuous improvement initiatives.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Partner with Engineering, Tooling, and Quality teams to standardize best practices, ensure machine safety/risk assessments, and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
