Join a dynamic network operations team supporting the reliability, performance, and day-to-day stability of local network infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, maintaining critical hardware, and keeping connectivity services running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide operational support for local network equipment, including SD-WAN routers, LAN switches, and wireless access points. Monitor and maintain UPS systems to help ensure power redundancy and network availability. Complete routine firmware updates and coordinate hardware replacements as needed. Support physical network infrastructure by organizing, labeling, routing, and documenting cabling and patching. Help maintain clean, safe, and well-organized data center and network closet environments. Perform physical checks of installed hardware to support safety, compliance, and operational standards. Work from the ServiceNow queue to manage incidents and requests efficiently. Resolve network outages or degraded performance issues quickly to reduce business impact. Fulfill standard operational requests such as VLAN assignments, port activations, and hardware deployments. Skills Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco SD-WAN, switching, and wireless technologies. Strong technical problem-solving skills with a focus on break-fix support and operational stability. Working knowledge of network hardware lifecycle support and infrastructure maintenance. Ability to manage tasks through a ticketing system such as ServiceNow. Understanding of IP management, DNS, and DHCP concepts. Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Clear communication skills and the ability to support end users and technical teams effectively. Preferred Skills Experience with Cisco network management tools such as Catalyst Center, vManage, and ThousandEyes. Familiarity with other monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, NetBrain, and StatSeeker. Cisco certification such as CCNA or CCNP. Security+ certification. Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field.
