GovCIO LLC seeks a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Administrator to support secure, modern VDI environments for federal customers. In this mission-driven, fast-paced role, you will design, deploy, and maintain VDI platforms to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance. Responsibilities include image and profile management, patching, performance tuning, incident resolution, and automation with scripting. You'll collaborate with security, network, and cloud teams while leveraging modern tools, training, and mentorship to grow your skills and impact critical government missions. Responsibilities Design, deploy, and administer VDI solutions for federal customers. Monitor VDI performance, capacity, and availability, resolving incidents promptly. Harden and secure VDI environments to meet federal and agency compliance standards. Manage images, profiles, policies, and application delivery for virtual desktops. Automate routine tasks with scripts and standard tools to improve reliability. Collaborate with security, network, and cloud teams on integrated solutions. Document architectures, configurations, and standard operating procedures. Support change, incident, and problem management processes and reviews. Participate in on-call rotations and provide advanced troubleshooting support. Identify opportunities to modernize and optimize VDI platforms and user experience.
