We are looking for a Network Design Specialist to support infrastructure planning and technical design efforts in Nokomis, Florida. This Long-term Contract position focuses on developing accurate network layouts, producing clear engineering documentation, and contributing to fiber and switching environments. The ideal candidate brings a strong grasp of network architecture principles along with experience using drafting and design software to translate requirements into detailed infrastructure plans.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed network design drawings and infrastructure layouts using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or comparable platforms.
• Create and maintain technical diagrams, documentation packages, and visual network maps that accurately reflect existing and planned environments.
• Support the design of fiber-based network infrastructure, including rack arrangements, port assignments, and physical connectivity planning.
• Apply networking knowledge to define switch placement, IP addressing structures, and equipment relationships within infrastructure designs.
• Collaborate with engineering and project stakeholders to turn technical requirements into organized, build-ready documentation.
• Review drawings and documentation for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with established network design standards.
• Assist with updates to network records and infrastructure mapping as project requirements evolve over time.
