Share Job Job Description Resident Engineer - Juniper Technologies (Onsite, NJ) We are looking for a Resident Engineer for a global high‑tech company. In this role, you will provide advanced technical support, certification, and implementation services to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of enterprise and service provider networking environments. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will lead laboratory validation, customer deployments, and operational engagements with a strong focus on Juniper technologies, solution resilience, and customer satisfaction. This is a 12‑month (extensions likely), 37.5‑hour/week, working from the client/customer office in NJ. This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered. Responsibilities Perform laboratory testing, certification, and validation of Juniper networking solutions and architectures.

Design, configure, and deploy customer network solutions across routing, switching, security, and cloud‑managed platforms.

Provide technical leadership during customer onboarding, migrations, and troubleshooting activities.

Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation, deployment guides, and certification reports.

Strong knowledge of Multicast, GRE Tunnels, IPSec VPNs, NAT, BGP, OSPF, IPv6, CoS, Routing Instances, J‑Flow, RPM, VRRP, and SNMP.

Experience across SRX Security Platforms (SRX300/400 series, mid‑range models), MX Routing Platforms (MX204, MX301, MX304, MX240, MX480), EX Switching Platforms (EX3400, EX4000, EX4650), and QFX Switching Platforms (QFX5120).

Working knowledge of Mist Cloud Management (WAN Assurance, Switch Assurance, monitoring, and operational support).

Familiarity with Spirent TestCenter and PRTG Network Monitor for certification and monitoring. Requirement 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Juniper routing, switching, and security technologies.

Experience with Juniper NFX250/NFX350, vSRX, Linux administration, and KVM virtualization.

Juniper certifications: JNCIP, JNCIS, JNCIE or equivalent.

Proven experience in both laboratory certification/testing and customer‑facing implementations.

Experience supporting large‑scale enterprise and service provider environments.

Knowledge of SD‑WAN, cloud‑managed architectures, carrier‑grade WAN services, Metro Ethernet, and LTE/5G resiliency.
