Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Exchange Server (2013/2016/2019).

Experience in mailbox provisioning, database management, DAG configuration, and troubleshooting mail flow issues.

Knowledge of hybrid Exchange environments and migration strategies (Cutover, Hybrid, Staged).

Troubleshooting SMTP, transport rules, connectors, and mail routing issues.

Exchange Online & M365 Administration

Hands-on experience managing Exchange Online, mailboxes, shared mailboxes, DLs, and M365 Groups.

Troubleshooting mail flow, mailbox access, retention policies, and access issues.

Experience with hybrid configuration (HCW), migration batches, and coexistence.

Knowledge of OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams administration.

M365 Collaboration Tools

Administration and troubleshooting of Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.

Managing external sharing, permissions, and collaboration scenarios.

Troubleshooting sync issues, file sharing issues, and Teams meeting problems.

PowerShell & Automation

Strong scripting experience using PowerShell for Exchange Online and M365 automation.

Experience writing scripts for user provisioning, reporting, and bulk updates.

Exposure to API integrations and automation using Power Automate.

Basic understanding of Python scripting for automation use cases.

ITIL Processes

Good understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Request Management.

Experience using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.

Ensure SLA compliance and timely ticket resolution.

Remote Infrastructure Support

Experience supporting users through remote support tools.

Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware/software/network-related issues remotely.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Security & Compliance

Knowledge of Microsoft Purview (Retention, DLP, eDiscovery, Auditing).

Understanding of mailbox auditing, retention policies, and compliance requirements.

Familiarity with compliance portal and security best practices.

Good to Have

Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and Identity Management.

Exposure to Microsoft Defender for Office 365.

Basic knowledge of Azure services and automation.

Familiarity with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate).

Experience using tools like Postman for API testing.

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide end-to-end support for Exchange On-Prem and Exchange Online environments.

Manage mailbox provisioning, permissions, shared mailboxes, and distribution groups.

Troubleshoot mail flow issues, transport rules, connectors, and hybrid configuration issues.

Administer and support Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online services.

Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and operational efficiency.

Monitor system health and perform proactive maintenance activities.

Implement and manage retention, compliance, and security policies using Microsoft Purview.

Support user onboarding/offboarding and access provisioning automation.

Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams during incidents.

Maintain documen tation, SOPs, and automation workflows.

Ensure SLA adherence and timely resolution of tickets.

Participate in change management, release updates, and environment upgrades.

Salary Range:

$100,000-$110,000 a year
