Job Description
Systems Administrator I Tallahassee, FL (On-site with remote rotation) Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Direct Hire We're seeking a hands-on Systems Administrator I to support Windows server environments, business applications, SQL databases, and network infrastructure. This is a mid-to-senior level technical role where approximately 95% of the day is spent troubleshooting, supporting systems, and resolving complex technical issues.
What You'll Need:
- Minimum 3 years of IT infrastructure, systems administration, or technical support experience
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience, including writing queries and T-SQL
- Windows Server administration experience
- General networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong initiative, curiosity, and ownership mentality
- Current certifications (degree not required)
Preferred:
- AWS or cloud experience
- VMware experience
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Jira/Confluence experience
- Customer-facing technical support experience This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into technical challenges, collaborating with users and internal teams, and taking issues from investigation through resolution.
