$105,000-$140,000 + Bonus Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Technical Service Manager to support the Filling side of our Service department. This position serves as the primary technical interface between customers, Customer Service, and Engineering while leading technical support activities and managing a team of technicians, engineers, and administrative support. This is a hybrid position based in the Greenville, NC area . The selected candidate will work 1-2 days per week in the Winterville office or meet with the Head of Service in the Rocky Mount area. The remainder of the time will be spent working remotely and traveling to customer sites throughout North Carolina. Primary Responsibilities Provide the first point of contact for customers for technical resolution of issues. Supply timely and accurate technical solutions. Complete on-site customer visits to gather information on customer issues. Work with Product Line Management to develop spare and change parts packages. Consistently observe and promote SHEQ site requirements for self, department, contractors, visitors, and guests. Manage a team of technicians, engineers, administrative support, and other personnel. Technical & Customer Support Responsibilities Act as the primary technical interface between Customer Service, Engineering, and the customer. Perform project-related engineering tasks for Customer Service projects as needed. Update internal customers on available improvements and replacements for obsolete items for specific equipment. Direct, coordinate, and manage technical solutions for technicians and engineers. Apply product understanding and process knowledge to improve product performance. Maintain and expand technical skills through formal education, seminars, and certification programs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field or 10+ years of equivalent experience. 8+ years of manufacturing operations experience in engineering, purchasing, materials control, administration, or related functions. Strong understanding of industrial plants with PC/PLC control systems, refrigeration, and vacuum systems. Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electromechanical equipment, including PLCs. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation. Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical tools used in pharmaceutical maintenance and technical support. Strong communication, customer service, interpersonal, and Microsoft Office skills. Experience working with internal and external customers. Proven leadership in industrial technical environments, including maintenance and engineering. Experience working in multicultural and international environments. Experience supporting equipment in sterile and aseptic environments. Knowledge of aseptic filling equipment, including vials, syringes, cartridges, isolators, and VHP. Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule. Valid driver's license and passport required. Travel Requirements Hybrid work schedule with 1-2 days per week in the Greenville/Winterville/Rocky Mount area. Local travel to customer sites throughout North Carolina. Up to 25% domestic and international travel (approximately one week per month). Flexibility to travel on short notice in support of customer emergencies
Compensation Base Salary:
