Role:
The Computer Service Administrator (CSA) is responsible for owning and executing all IT helpdesk operations while ensuring efficient management of the organization's technical support environment. The Computer Service Administrator (CSA) provides hands-on technical support while overseeing IT support processes, assets, user access, and vendor relationships. This role is responsible for resolving hardware and software issues, managing support tickets, and ensuring our stores have the technology they need to operate successfully. The CSA will be responsible for delivering on metrics, ensuring service level agreement compliance, reporting to leadership, and providing oversight of all IT work items. The CSA also serves as the lead for the IT Helpdesk responsible for making critical decisions to provide resolution to complex IT issues.
What You'll Do:
Provide first-line support for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues. Diagnose and resolve computer, printer, scanner, and other technology issues. Provision and deploy computers, software, and business applications. Manage user accounts, access permissions, onboarding, and offboarding. Oversee IT support tickets from creation through resolution and ensure SLA compliance. Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and user-device assignments. Coordinate with vendors and Wakefern support to resolve technical issues. Identify recurring issues and recommend technology and process improvements. Travel to stores to provide hands-on technical support. Perform user access and system compliance audits.
What We're Looking For:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field or a high school diploma with 5+ years of lead technician experience and an IT certification within 6 months of hire. 3-5+ years of IT helpdesk or technical support experience. Strong Windows, troubleshooting, and business application knowledge. Basic understanding of networking concepts such as IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Experience with ticketing systems, Active Directory/Azure AD, remote support, and asset management preferred. Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technology. Base Salary:
$70,000 - $86,000
