THE VACANCY
There is one full-time, 12 month, open position in the Technology Support Services Department. The eligibility list established from this recruitment will also be used to fill future, full-time vacancies, substitute, and temporary positions for up to six months.
THE POSITION
Under the supervision of the Technology Systems Services (TSS) Director, the User Support Technician shall serve as a resource to school sites and District staff in the effective and efficient utilization of computer technology; acts as a liaison between the District's computer users, the TSS department, and hardware and software vendors in the resolution of users requests and problems; and shall perform other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must have an AA degree with coursework in computer science, computer systems, or related field, or equivalent experience. Must have a valid California Driver's License and driving record sufficient to be able to be insured, and continue to be insurable, by the District's liability insurance carrier.
