Job Description

I.T Assistant - Vaughn Automotive Group Vaughn Automotive Group is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable I.T Assistant to join our team. As a leading automotive group with multiple locations, we are looking for a tech-savvy individual who can assist with day-to-day I.T operations to keep our business running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance and support for all computer systems and software used within the organization Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate to the I.T Manager when necessary Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and related equipment Manage network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls Monitor and maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans Troubleshoot and resolve email, internet, and network access issues for all users Ensure the security and integrity of all company data and systems Collaborate with different departments to identify and address technology needs Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base for reference Stay current with industry trends and new technologies to make recommendations for improvement

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 2+ years of experience in a similar I.T support or assistant role Knowledge and experience with Windows and Mac operating systems Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Able to work independently and in a team environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Automotive industry experience is a plus, but not required Why work with us: At Vaughn Automotive Group, we value our employees and provide a positive and collaborative work environment.
