Job Description

Monmouth Telecom is looking for an MSP Systems Technician to join our IT team. This is a hands-on position supporting business customers across a variety of desktop, server, network, security, and backup environments. We're looking for someone with 1-2 years of IT experience and a strong technical foundation. MSP experience is a plus but not required. Above all, we're looking for someone who takes ownership of problems andwho will troubleshoot, research, communicate with the customer and team, and work an issue through to resolution rather than simply passing it along.

What You'll Work With:

Windows PCs, Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, switches and VLAN troubleshooting NinjaOne RMM and SentinelOne endpoint security Datto and Synology backup environments VMware, Hyper-V and Proxmox virtual environments PC deployments, software, printers and general end-user support You don't need to be a network engineer. You should, however, be able to diagnose and isolate network, firewall, VPN and connectivity problems and know when an issue needs to be escalated. What We're Looking For Take ownership of customer issues Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently, research unfamiliar problems Know when to ask for help! Must be able to meet customer site access requirements when applicable Good documentation and ticket management habits A desire to continue learning and expand your technical capabilities A degree or certifications are not required, as practical ability, attitude, communication, and a willingness to learn are more important.

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
