Job Description We are seeking Level 2 Deployment Technicians to support a large-scale endpoint modernization initiative involving the replacement and upgrade of approximately 4,000 end-of-life devices across Oregon. This role is a core execution position, responsible for end-to-end device deployment, including imaging, installation, troubleshooting, and user validation. Technicians will ensure devices are fully operational, properly configured, and accurately tracked throughout the deployment lifecycle. This is a hands-on, high-volume deployment role requiring strong technical skills, efficiency, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform device swaps and full replacement workflows for desktops and laptops across assigned sites
Execute device imaging and configuration (Windows 11 upgrades and Windows 10 for exception devices)
Set up workstations, including cable management, peripherals, and physical installation
Conduct functional testing and end-user validation to ensure devices are fully operational prior to handoff
Provide onsite and remote troubleshooting support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
Support printer and peripheral setup and troubleshooting as part of workstation deployment
Maintain accurate asset tracking and inventory updates throughout deployment lifecycle, including system updates and replacement mapping
Document deployment activities, issues, and resolutions in appropriate tracking systems
Ensure adherence to deployment schedules, quality standards, and asset management processes

3+ years' experience as PC/computer technician or similar role
Experience with LAN/WAN networks troubleshooting
Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
Experience working in an enterprise IT environment
Experience in remote PC troubleshooting
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
Printer support experience
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication abilities and customer service skills
Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
BSc/BA in Computer Science, engineering, relevant field, or a combination of relevant experience
