  • Job Description:
  • A successful developer will use a set of core skills that are transferable across various functions, departments, and tools.
The incumbent will support the design, build, test, and deploy a variety of innovative solutions across all regions of Intermountain Health to drive process improvement and contribute to the organization's success. The ideal developer will be adept in: Candidates should be prepared to collaborate with peers, participate in project development, and engage with business and clinical partners to deliver high-quality, scalable, and outcomes-focused products. The position holder will design, develop, document, and test simple solutions, while working closely with senior team members on more complex ones. They will build and configure stable reusable software components. A developer helps create and deploy responsible, trustworthy, and secure products. They may coordinate work with external service vendors and third parties to resolve concerns and issues vital to the integration of their solutions into Intermountain's technical and cultural ecosystem.

Schedule:
General office hours ranging between 7:30AM
  • 5PM MT.
  • Prefer candidates fluent with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), AI Agent development, Power Platform experience, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Power Apps. Databricks, Python, or other automation and agentic AI systems are also helpful.
  • Essential Functions + Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code.
Build solutions and workflows, user interfaces. Work assigned ticketing and queue. Resolve issues, and propose solutions to trends. + Participate in all phases of required implementations, including installation, configuration, customization, integration, and data migration. + Deliver design and technical specification documents for IT projects and products. + Leverage effective verbal and written communicator across all levels of customers. + Leverage knowledge of programming and scripting. + Leverage continuous process improvement principles, leading practices, and methodologies. + Follow software/automation development life cycle + Support and maintain existing applications Skills +

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • + Demonstrated technical experience such as software development, technical analysis, data analysis, business systems administration, quality assurance and testing, etc. + Successful demonstration of experience with specific industry software tools + Evidence of successful design and technical specification documents for IT projects and products
  • Preferred:
  • + Bachelor's degree or higher, obtained through an accredited institution, with at least one year of relevant technical experience such as software development, technical analysis, data systems administration, quality assurance and testing, etc.
+ Prefer candidates fluent with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI Agent development, + Power Platform and Power Apps experience, + Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, + Databricks, Python, or other automation and agentic AI systems are also helpful. + Salesforce
  • Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud experience; using appropriate configuration and customizations such as APEX including Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components + RPA/Intelligent Automation
  • Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Power Automate, Blue Prism, Pega, Alteryx, Power Apps, Microsoft Azure (Cognitive Services), JSON, Postman, Auto Hot Key, SQL, HTML/CSS, XML, Microsoft Office products, Copilots and digital assistants; Salesforce Process Builder, Flow, Assignment Rules + Reporting and analytics
  • Tableau, Discern Visual, Cognos, and Power BI.

Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional, Microsoft Certified:
Power Platform Fundamentals, UiPath Certified Professional, etc. + Appropriate use of development software configuration and customizations + Confirmed competency using variables, databases, arrays, and/or data frames for automation + Ability to configure and use APIs and web services + Applied understanding of enterprise architecture + Security protocols, network configuration, database provisioning, server frameworks, etc. + AI/Machine Learning proficiency like: Language/Multi-modal models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing, Predictive AI models, Categorization models, Deep Neural Networks, etc. Physical Requirements + Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing + Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands + See and read computer monitors and documents + Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment + May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching
