Mobile Fortress builds solar-powered mobile surveillance systems for construction sites, equipment yards, remote properties, events, and other locations that need dependable security without permanent infrastructure. We are looking for a hands-on Technical Solutions Engineer to lead the technical side of our products. This person will help customers and dealers choose the right setup, deliver technical demonstrations, configure cameras, routers, software, and remote access, and solve advanced issues when systems do not work as expected. What you will do Help design the right surveillance, recording, connectivity, and deterrence solution for customer sites. Configure and test IP cameras, NVRs, routers, remote access, alerts, analytics, and more. Deliver technical demonstrations and support sales and dealer partners with complex opportunities. Diagnose advanced issues involving cameras, networks, routers, and remote viewing. Create technical standards, final-test checklists, troubleshooting guides, and training materials. Test new cameras, routers, software, and product ideas before they are offered to customers. Train team members and dealer technical contacts on setup, deployment, demonstrations, and escalation procedures. Help improve the Mobile Fortress app and software experience by testing features, identifying issues, documenting bugs, and translating real customer feedback into clear technical requirements. What we are looking for Experience with video surveillance, networking, technical support, security integration, field engineering, or systems implementation. Strong working knowledge of IP networking, including DHCP, static IP addresses, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, PoE, DNS, remote access, and cellular connectivity. Experience configuring or troubleshooting IP cameras, NVRs, VMS platforms, routers, or other connected hardware. Ability to troubleshoot methodically across hardware, firmware, software, networks, power, and user-account issues. Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical information to customers and coworkers. Ability to create useful technical documentation, procedures, and training materials. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for customer, dealer, or field-support needs. Experience with coding, mobile or web applications, APIs, software integrations, or app troubleshooting is also a strong plus. It is not required.
