Turner Industries is looking for an experienced Software QA Analyst II to join our team in the Baton Rouge, LA area. The primary objective of the Software QA Analyst II is to contribute to a development team in the production of valuable custom software products. Collaborating with users and team members, the QA II assist with requirements gathering, training documentation, testing software to confirm requirements have been met, as well as providing direction as needed to QA I analysts. The Analyst quickly and skillfully learns, understands, and supports the business of Turner Industries.
Essential Qualifications:
The Software Quality Assurance Analyst II may require an associate degree or better in a technical field (ex. Computer Science or equivalent) At least 3+ years of experience as an analyst and/or 3+ years' experience in construction related area Proficient in Tricentis Tosca, with AI capabilities preferred First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) - Will be provided This person must rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Scrum is not a required prerequisite, but you will be required to learn Scrum and participate in a team Excellent verbal and written skills Ability to deal with face-to-face interactions with a wide variety of personalities A positive attitude, open mind, and willingness to learn are essential Familiarity with and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace Applicant must have reliable internet connectivity at all times of the workday Applicant will be provided with adequate computer hardware to perform job requirements Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace
Functional Requirements:
Contributes to a development team daily; p erforms a variety of tasks under minimal supervision and may be required to lead in testing or requirements gathering; u nderstands, decomposes, and occasionally documents business processes as needed; c ontributes to creation of documentation needed to build software; e nsure functional requirements have been met by designing/developing/maintaining test cases; p erforms skillful exploratory testing of applications; d ocuments application issues, providing steps to fix detected issues; c ontributes to training and production implementation activities; c ompiles test data and defines desired results for testing software; p rovide training and direction to onboarding QA I analysts as needed; p erform additional software testing assignments per supervisor's direction as needed Compensation Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
