We are seeking a hands-on Software QA Engineer for a communications technology company. This position combines manual testing, technical troubleshooting, and automation across mobile applications, web clients, backend services, and connected accessories. We're looking for someone who has tested iOS, Android, and Web applications in a VoIP, push-to-talk, or other real-time communications environment and can investigate issues across multiple system components. What You'll Do

• Create, execute, and improve test plans, test cases, and acceptance test procedures.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, sanity, and acceptance testing for releases, patches, and customer deployments.
• Validate end-to-end workflows across mobile/web clients, backend services, third-party integrations, and supported devices or accessories.
• Investigate failures using application, device, and server logs, network behavior, and supporting evidence.
• Document defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps and impact assessments; verify fixes and perform targeted regression testing.
• Identify opportunities for automation and contribute to automated test development and maintenance.
• Monitor test coverage, progress, defect trends, and release quality; communicate findings, blockers, and risks.
• Collaborate with development, product, delivery, and QA teams. What We're Looking For
• Hands-on QA experience testing iOS, Android, and Web applications.
• Experience testing VoIP, PTT/MCPTT, or closely related real-time communications applications, including call behavior and the effects of network conditions.
• Strong test planning, defect investigation, and release validation skills.
• Experience testing APIs, backend services, and integrations across multiple components.
• Working knowledge of Linux and practical experience collecting and analyzing logs.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and the ability to execute, troubleshoot, and maintain automated tests.
• Clear communication and strong collaboration skills.

Additional Experience Valued SIP/RTP, Web

RTC, PTT/MCPTT, 3GPP

integrations, connected accessories, rugged devices, Appium, Selenium, Playwright, and scripting. Wireless modem, RF, or device-certification experience should be accompanied by the application QA and communications testing experience outlined above. Pay:

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
