$27.50 - $44.00 Pay starts at $27.50 and increases according to years of applicable experience.

No Department Details Healthcare experience/background preferred. Summary The IT Quality Assurance Specialist will design and write test plans and procedures that validate that the infrastructure and software will function according to specifications and expected standards. Job Description Execute, monitor, and record the results of test plans. Provide test estimates while keeping project timelines in mind and work closely with other departments to understand software functionality and project requirements. Responsible for logging found defects and validation of defect fixes. Participate in software requirements gathering sessions. Translate requirements into test cases, interview end users to determine needed test cases, provide testing timelines, execute test scripts, and document identified issues with enough detail to support a resolution. Work closely with other project teams to resolve found issues and work towards a goal of providing a unified testing platform that can be used across Sanford. Must be self-motivated and driven to produce results. Basic knowledge of software development, software testing techniques and the software development life cycle. Must be able to creatively problem solve, possess entrepreneurial skills and the ability to adapt to varying customer situations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required.
