Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran and woman-owned company with locations nationwide. HX5 is currently seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to join our team in Brook Park, Ohio in support of the GEARS contract at NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide configuration management and data management (CM/DM) support to the Space Nuclear Propulsion-Technology Maturation (SNP-TM) project. The selected candidate will interface and coordinate with the SNP-TM personnel at Marshall Space Flight Center, the owner of CM for the SNP-TM Project.
This support will include:
Maintain a SNP-TM project document repository and control access for the project team members and project stakeholders. Serve as an SNP-TM Materials Characterization Working Group (MCWG) coordinator. Maintain effective controls and tracking of applicable/latest revision or version for project data & system components, project specifications, system software, engineering & project documentation. Coordinate publication and collaboration of documentation and changes. Organize data to facilitate ease of access and retrieval for project team members and management decision-making process. Support various project reviews (Requirements Readiness, Preliminary Design, Critical Design, Flight Readiness, etc.) using agreed to repositories for relevant data for access availability for all review members. Ensure that all project documents are version-controlled maintained, tracked and archived within the agreed to systems. SharePoint should be the primary repository for documentation. Create project repositories and libraries for all project configuration items. Provide Data Retention and Storage for the project. Coordinate project meetings including engineering & project meetings, manufacturing meetings, change control boards and archive meeting minutes.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's or master's degree and 5-10 years of experience High school diploma or equivalent and 15 years of experience.
Other Position Requirements:
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position. Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
