If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by Talent Solutions and will not be an employee of Hilton. Contract workers are not employees of Hilton or any of its subsidiaries, nor will they be eligible for Hilton benefits.

•This role will be onsite 5 days/week in the Memphis office

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented quality engineering professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software by developing and executing comprehensive test strategies across the full software development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Development, Deployment, and Support to identify quality risks, drive testing best practices, and champion release readiness. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality engineering professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering reliable, high-performing software solutions.

Responsibilities:

Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies that ensure software meets functional, integration, reliability, and quality standards Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements reviews, test planning, estimation, release validation, and production support Design and execute risk-based functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests Document test results thoroughly and investigate defects using logs and payloads Communicate quality risks and findings to Product, Development, Deployment, and Support teams Continuously improve test coverage, automation frameworks, and quality engineering processes Independently prioritize work and provide informed recommendations on release-readiness decisions

Skills:

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing Proficiency in API testing and the ability to analyze logs and payloads for defect investigation Experience developing and implementing risk-based test strategies Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile development practices Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey quality risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and make sound release-readiness recommendations Experience with test automation frameworks and a commitment to improving automation coverage
