UI UX Designer (FED)

Job Description

We are looking for a UI UX Designer to create intuitive digital experiences that support complex, data-intensive applications in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will blend product design and front-end development to shape interfaces for AI-enabled dashboards, operational tools, and analytical platforms used in high-stakes environments. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to turn intricate workflows into clear, dependable user experiences that are both accessible and production-ready.
Responsibilities:
  • Create user flows, wireframes, clickable prototypes, and refined interface designs that align with established visual standards and product goals.
  • Develop and deploy front-end features converting design concepts into reliable, accessible, and maintainable components.
  • Define interaction patterns for AI-supported experiences, including approval steps, confidence indicators, traceability cues, and clear responses to uncertain system output.
  • Structure navigation, content hierarchy, and task paths for information-heavy applications such as live dashboards, analytical workspaces, and geospatial displays.
  • Gather user feedback through interviews, usability studies, experimentation, and usage data analysis, then refine designs based on findings.
  • Evolve and document a shared design system across design files and codebases, including reusable components, standards, and usage guidance.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and technical stakeholders to deliver cohesive solutions across multiple platforms and regulated environments.
  • Incorporate accessibility, privacy, and security considerations into interface design and implementation, including support for restricted deployment settings.
  • Work on-site in the California office while contributing to iterative product delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Use tools such as Figma, JIRA, and GitHub to manage design workflows, coordinate development, and maintain project transparency.
