Systems Development Engineer | Miami, FL | $100,000 About the Role A dynamic, growing company is looking for a Systems Development Engineer to help build and scale their backend infrastructure. You'll work closely with the CTO on system architecture, build custom APIs, and own the third-party integrations that keep the business connected and running smoothly. This is a great opportunity to make a real technical impact at a company on the rise. Key Responsibilities API Development Build and maintain custom backend APIs Ensure seamless connectivity across internal systems System Architecture Work under the CTO, executing on architectural direction and assigned system tasks Contribute to the design and scalability of core systems Third-Party Integrations Own and manage integrations with external platforms and services Troubleshoot and maintain existing integration pipelines Qualifications Strong experience in backend development Strong foundations in JavaScript Proficiency in TypeScript and Node/Bun-based environments Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts Experience with React, Tailwind, and Vite Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with senior leadership Experience with Cloudflare's developer and security products is a plus
